Driller – Brisbane
About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Geotechnical Driller to join our expanding team. This full-time position is based in Brisbane, with travel throughout Queensland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain drilling equipment to ensure efficiency, productivity and safety.
- Work with management to plan and source all necessary drilling equipment for investigative projects.
- Prepare and maintain drilling sites, including setting up machinery and equipment.
- Conduct all site-based drilling operations to a high standard.
- Ensure compliance with site-specific inductions, SWMS, and safety documentation.
- Complete all safety documentation and adhere to safe work practices.
- Follow all Quality, OHSE, and company policies and procedures.
About You:
- 2-3 years’ experience in Geotechnical Drilling
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Have excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Must hold a minimum heavy rigid (HR) Driving Licence with all terrain experience
- Minimum Class 1 Water Well Licence
- Hold a Construction Industry White Card
- Certificate III in Drilling Operations
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work on both Brisbane based sites and remote projects (willingness to work rostered shifts for larger contracts)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
